The traditional Teahouse overlooking the Sydney Chinese garden is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a refreshment. The Chinese Garden of Friendship was built by Chinese landscape architects as a beautiful symbol of friendship between Sydney and Guangzhou in the province of Guangdong, China (sister cities of sister states), to mark Australia’s bicentenary in 1988. It follows the Taoist principles of 'Yin-Yang' and the five opposite elements—earth, fire, water, metal and wood.
