Adventure Clues is the new fun way to explore your city by solving a series of fun cryptic clues on your mobile. The colourful characters of The Rocks’ past come alive on this trail of discovery as they challenge you to uncover the interesting back stories of this important area. Your mission is to solve the 13 cryptic clues so that you can uncover the location of the Captains Ship.

You will get up close and personal with the living history and heritage of Australia’s first settlement area and Sydney’s oldest streets. Wander down hidden alleyways, into mysterious courtyards, walk the shortest street in Sydney, and discover some of unsavoury characters of the past.

Along the way we will show you two awesome stop off points to enjoy some beverages if you wish. Upon completion of the clues you will be provided with your stats and a detailed explanation of all the sights in the Adventure Clues Ultimate Guide.

Important Notes

The trail is best done in daylight hours so that you can find the clues easier. Please be advised that the rest break locations are not guaranteed to be open at the time of your visit due to different trading hours. The unique play link is valid for 30 days after purchase.

Go solo or play as a team! We recommend up to 4 players per team. If you want to play against another team then stagger your start times by 10 minutes.

Start Location - Outside Customs House (Circular Quay station is 1 minute walk away)
Finish Location - You finish a short walk away from one of our recommended bars in The Rocks. There are plenty of other bars and restaurants nearby. If you want some tips on where to eat afterwards then get in touch or check the ultimate guide you will see at the end of the trail.
Duration - 2-3 hours (may vary depending on how much time you spend at rest breaks)

Gameplay - You can either decide to go about things leisurely or try to post a good time on the Adventure Clues Leaderboard. After each clue we provide you with the story and facts.

Answer Correctly - 25 Points,
Use a hint - 10 Points
Use a Reveal - 20 Points (and the map will direct you to next clue in case you got lost)

Top Tips - Make sure your phone has enough phone battery. Bring along a pen and paper, it can help when solving some of the anagram clues.
